With our rigid Quality Control Systems maintained at every step of production, in-house facilities for mechanical testing, non-destructive testing, ultrasonic examination and metallurgical examination, we product high quality products that out-perform nearly all their counterparts.

Our custom-manufacturing capability can handle difficult jobs and specialized applications that other manufacturers cannot!. We also offer machine knife/saw/roll reconditioning & re-grinding services make them better than new, along with heat-treatment capability that can improve the durability and increase the life of the product.

We can also manufacture any type of machine knife for any application including food processing, leather manufacturing, sheet metal fabrication, commercial paper manufacturing, printing & publishing, electronics manufacturing, etc.

We can also make these products out of different materials. We typically work with High Alloy Carbon Steel, High Speed Steel, Stainless Steel and High Carbon High Chrome Steel but can also handle Super Alloys, Special Alloys and other non-standard & exotic materials. Our commitment to quality starts from the time of selection of the raw material supplier. Apex is the ONLY knife manufacturer today who imports its raw material for knife manufacture directly from established ISO-9000 certified vendors in Europe for e.g. Böhler Edelstahl and from Japan for e.g. Toyo.

With our 42 year knowledge of materials & manufacturing technology and by using a combination of new technologies with traditional skills in the areas of heat-treatment, grinding, straightening and machining, we can help you upgrade the quality of your machine knife/saw/roll or tool so that you obtain longer life, less downtime and increased productivity in between regrinds.

We can also handle very odd sizes & complex geometry. In the past we've manufactured knives as short as 1/4" long (6.35mm) and as long as 16 feet (5 meters) in a single piece!
